our sister beach trip.....may you always have a shell in your pocket and sand in your shoes

Our last minute beach trip to Seawinds, in Gulf Shores Alabama!

Anita and I decided to load up our kids and we were off to our favorie place...the beach! Shawn was in KC for a missions trip and Cameron was working!

 The kids get an A for traveling 11 hours in the van... Watching movies, playing with each other and sleeping!




Our first afternoon, we arrived at the condo after grocery shopping and headed straight for the sand! We are all smiles because we are at the beach!!!

Solomon loves hunting for anything at the ocean...he found lots of crabs...night crabbing. He found catfish, jellyfish, even a small shark while were at the beach!

After the third day, campbell warmed up to the sand. She didn't like to walk on but would sit in her chair or on the blanket. By day three she was playing with shovels and walking the beach!

Part of the trip was to celebrate my birthday! It was a great day with my sister and kids, shopping, at the pool and beach and eating yummy seafood from sea and suds!

Our last day at the beach...making some lasting memories together for the summer!!

 Laughter is an instant vacation....

  Families are like fudge...sweet with a few nuts!

Just PLANE  FUN!

Our memories of the ocean with linger on, long after our footprints in the sand are gone!
